Habitat: Seattle. Irrigated mulch bed under alder trees surrounded by grass.
Gills: Attached, close. Light in young specimens, dark in older ones
Stem: White, bright white. Neon white if there is such a thing. Flimsy, hollow
Cap: 1-3cm. Conical to planing in age. Hygrophanous. Light brown to dark brown to blue black in age
Spore print color: Awaiting spore print.
Bruising: Stem turning black in age. Cap is black and shriveled in age the way my Subbs were this summer
Other information: Lots of shade, possibly all day shade. It appears to be a new mulch bed and is sprinkled.

The hollow stem makes me lean toward Psathyrella. Don't look like any psilocybes I know of here. Note that i'm not a TI but I do hunt psilocybes and I feel with some confidence, I can say these are not actives.

Oh man, bummer. I saw the black and blue shriveled up cap and I got excited. Oh well, happy to see fungi.

Cyans have preetty much solid stems. They tend to be really meaty. The baeos I found were a little hollow like pinhole-sized but still firm to the touch. The stunzi's were smaller and more soft/hollow but my sample was pretty small for those.
Here are a few pics from last year. These are Stunzii

These two are the gnarly looking Baeos

Last but not least, some Cyans.

Nice find though....I'm feeling the excitement. I really got fooled by my find. I guess it was a Hypholoma which threw me off because of the purple print. 98% of the time when you have a purple print you have an active. But whatever....I am about to go out again. I don't have work or school today

I was pretty sure they weren't active. I saw the cap and got excited but the stem didn't match. I thought stuntzii if anything, however no annulus. I figured it was worth asking.
