Thanks man! And I'm trying to make this my job. It's only part time for now. But I built a heppa filter and have put about a grand in it so far. And I got my shelf from lowes. They are called metro shelves. It was about 79$ brand new but I'm sure you can find them used for 50$

Very nice. The best lion's mane I grow is on my deck. They love it out there! I tried them in a SGFC, but they were not dense and tight clusters at all. Will try to get a picture on after work of the ones out there now.

OK. Here are my lion's mane that sit on my deck. And yes, on that second and third picture, that is a huge spot of mold in the bag. Even with the mold the bag has given me 10 oz so far and has a beautiful fruit on it now. The spot never seems to get bigger, so the mycelium must be keeping it in check. Enjoy!

I just used Lipa's pasteurized fuel pellet tek, but added a little dish soap and unbrewed coffee to the mixture. Then I added about 1-1.5 lbs of spawn to each bag. They colonized in about 17-21 days. Then I folded the top of the bag over tight and set them outside upside down. Cut a few slits and they fruited.

Also, from what I can tell from the pictures, you may need more FAE. They look a little coral like, and that's what happened to mine in the SGFC. They will probably be very light and not too dense. Once I put them outside they were really dense, firm and heavy. It actually surprised me the first time I harvested one because of the weight.
I harvested these today and the white one is 9.5 oz and the pink one is 3.75 oz.

Yes dish soap. It's regular Dawn. About a table spoon full. I haven't tried using the antibacterial stuff.

Found it; looks like he does use heat just not very precise about it, I prefer to be much more precise when pasteurizing.
Lipa's Pasteurized Fuel Pellet Tek
I don't have time to look through that right up, but I will take another look later, at a glance it looks questionable.
Your bag got contaminated didn't it?

Yes, one bag out of about 30 done so far became contaminated. But it still gave me about 20 ounces of fruit so far once I placed it outside. I can handle those kind of results. And the contamination may have already been in the spawn that I used. I'm not claiming is foolproof, but it's cheap, fast, and super easy.

there not in a closet they are in a room in my basement that was supposed to be built for a sauna room. Im still trying to figure out how to get some ventilation through that room so thats why i dont have much FAE. But this is my first gourmet grow im just winging it for now. Ive been putting more and more money into this until i have everything i need. Im still trying to figure out how to do bulk sterilization of the sub bags. It takes to long in a pressure cooker. Does anyone know of any way to do that?

Would you be able to make a fire outside?
You know those trash burning barrels? https://www.google.com/?gfe_rd=ssl&ei=A1nuVbeiHovT-AXG3YTADw#q=trash+burning+barrels&imgrc=479-JyjlIfWViM%3A
I have seen people do bulk in something like this by pasturizing. If u live in city limits though I don't think this is plausible..
There's an oven tek: http://www.shroomery.org/8393/Oven-Bag-Pasteurization-Pictorial
Check this out http://www.waldeneffect.org/blog/Sterilizing_and_pasteurizing_mushroom_substrates/
Hope this helps
