Several questions from newbie on PF tek

After doing copious amounts of research, I have a handful of questions on the PF tek. Questions are related to areas where sources of info were not clear or are contradictory.
Here are my questions:
1. When preparing a spore syringe from a foil print, is it necessary to sterilize a brand new syringe? I'm not referring to the needle but the actual syringe itself? If so, what technique should I use? Wrap in foil and boil for 1 hour? Steam for 90 minutes? Draw boiling water into syringe multiple times?
2. Do the jars have to remain dark during incubation?
3. If using jars with lids (with 4 holes), do I place foil over the lids during incubation? If so, how does gas exchange happen?
4. The dunk and roll seems like an optional step. How effective is the initial dunk and roll to improving yield?
5. Is it really necessary to dunk for 24 hours. Is 1 hour not sufficient to fully saturate the cakes?
6. What is the proper technique for consolidation? Do the jars just sit for another 5 days after full colonization, or do they need to be introduced to light and have the temperature dropped?
7. If using perlite for humidity in the chamber, how much perlite do I use? I've heard anywhere from 1/2 inch up to 6 inches. Do I put a layer of dry perlite on top of the soaked perlite? Can I put the cakes directly on the perlite?
8. Does anyone use hydrogen peroxide with water in the perlite mix? Or just water?
9. How important is it to mist cakes? Is it safe to do so even after pins have formed and mushrooms are growing?
Thanks for your comments.

Yes syringe has to be sterile. I like to pc for half an hour. Make the syringes in a still air box!
Ambient light is beneficial in all states. Don't incubate! Room temp on a shelf is fine.
No foil. Only need a dry verm layer
Extremely effective, and I'd go so far to say it isn't optional.
24 hours first dunk then roll. Subsequent flushes 12 hours dunk with no roll.
1 week (7 days) after 100% surface colonization.
4-5 inches of damp perlite MINIMUM. Put them on top of the jar lids. Also make sure the bottom has holes. They're the most important holes of a sgfc.
Just plain tap water. No peroxide!
Very important. Keep the cakes glistening wet with no pooling water 24/7. Pins won't abort from misting. They survive rain falls in the wild.
