Quart jars lids prep

Hello all,
I used to have standard lids with polyfill but can not find them anywhere. My WBS is drying right now so I need something asap.
I have PO tyvek and microspore tape.I have 10 lids that have no holes so I was thinking of just making a hole in the middle and microtaping it along with some tyvek. You think that would be enough air exchange or should I poke another hole as well?
I literally have zero time to do much tomorrow... However, if I do have time, I'm going to try and run to wal-mart for some polyfill.
I also plan on taping it after I inoculate.

Micropore tape is fine. Don't bother with the tyvek. Polyfill is annoying anyway; it just gets fibers in your shit...

I would use poly fill over tyvek and don't tell me you can't find a pillow
One nail hole in the middle, reemed out, then stuffed tightly with poly. Done.

I can't imagine what life must be like without a boatload of SFDs.

It's still berable but the quality of life is just blah. Idk how I make it through some days without sfd's - constant struggle with the polyfll literally jumping out of the hole like wow such a bad filter, sometimes I have to tell them out loud so the rest don't get any bad ideas - this seems to help for anyone reading with the same problem.

Buy some SFD's and save time and hassle. They will last thousands of PC cycles, and are ridiculously cheap when you think about this hobby as a whole.
