hey guys me and my girlfriend went hjnting today, our first try at findkng liberty caps, i  quite sure that these are Not liberty caps, but As a beginner i cannot be sure. the spore prints all look brown-purply. id love to learn the type pf mushrooms these are so I can stah awah from them or hunt them more. thanks shroomery!

You've got some Panaeolina foenisecii for sure, the ones with the dark gills and red stems could be Panaeolus cinctulus.

Go ahead and do a spore print for the darker ones, if they are Panaeolus cinctulus or similar, they will have a jet black print with no traces of color.

alrighty here are the capa and prints, some look brown and some very very dark brown.

If they are coming out with any brown refer back to Panaeolina foenisecii.

None of those are black. It will be unmistakable when they are black. One thing I've found is pan Subbs usually have a strong stem, at least relative to pan foes. They also usually have a red stem, darkening toward the base.
