So, Psilocybe caerulescens was a good ID considering nobody knew the sample came from GA.

I don't think OP wants to satisfy our origin request the weillii may be caerulescens but caerulescens I don't think are specific to georgia alone (within the US I mean) I may be wrong here....
But it does seem weillii are pretty particular to what they want... They may be the landslide mushroom, but they still have weillii tendencies
I'm betting the Doc is right.

That makes sense, thank you for the clarification.

This is a picture of Psilocybe weilii from Georgia that I found online, beautiful fungi.
I still think the OP is very lucky, that's a very potent strain, and it's not common, good find!

I hope these pics are a little better , thank you to everyone that replied and has been patient , I'm from the west coast and unfamiliar with the SE region , but I knew I had a good find and there have been lots of stories of the Welli in this region . . Spore print finished a dark purple .
Your lucky, that's an amazing find, be sure to leave a few left alone from where you harvest them so the will continue to return in that spot, unless they are plentiful enough where you would need not worry about that.

Back to the same general area and doubled the score ! Provided 8 hours of a wonderful journey ! Spore print was light purple . Defiantly Welli . Thanks for the helpful responses and being patient with my OP. I am from out west and unfamiliar with hunting in GA but I knew I had a active find and have heard stories about the famed Weilli in this area . What a blessing ! Thanks again peace love and light
