If bluing is what your basing the activeness on, all Psilocybin mushrooms bruise blue, but there are also poisonous mushrooms that bruise blue! Other compounds oxidize blue too!!

Also the area in which you live and more clear pictures are helpful in identifying the mushroom.

Lactarius indigo is blue due to (7-isopropenyl-4-methylazulen-1-yl)methyl stearate
Polypores blue for other reasons than psilocybin oxidation, its enzamatic, but polypores and boletes have a sponge like mass in place of gills
What poison mushrooms bruise blue?

Psilocybe caerulescens is a great guess, though its more common in Mexico, sometimes in the southern United States...
I guess Psilocybe subaeruginosa is an austrailian common species...so that was a bad guess
Psilocybe cyanescens was another guess of mine because it grows in the United States in urban areas and somewhat fits the description of the habitat described...
There's not enough information provided to.say anything for sure

I don't guess, baby, those are some caerulescens. Now we're just waiting for OP to confirm with a cromulent location

Psilocybe weilii actually looks exactly like what you have, provided your in the section of Georgia they grow in...

In general I don't guess, but what can you do with such sparse information?
It would be dishonest of me if I were to say "I know what you have" without the region provided, a picture of the gills and a spore print provided, so I guess until the information is in.
If you do have Psilocybe weilii, and it looks like you do, you should consider yourself lucky, that's not a common mushroom, and most mycology enthusiasts never see one.

Though I did hold back on some guesses...the pointy little cap reminds me of Psilocybe hoogshagenii, but that's a Mexican mushroom, and they are smaller and more fragile than what you have...
Psilocybe weilii is most likely your mushroom...

Psilocybe weilii is a psilocybin mushroom having psilocybin and/or psilocin as main active compounds. Originally mistaken for Psilocybe caerulescens var. caerulescens, it is named after Andrew Weil, the integrative medicine physician...
So, Psilocybe caerulescens was a good ID considering nobody knew the sample came from GA.

Yeah I guess your right, though it's said that Psilocybe weilii only grows in northern Georgia, which I thought some how would have made it distinct from the Psilocybe caerulescens var. caerulescens that grows in Mexico, as well as Alabama, south Carolina, etc...
Preferred Synonym(s): Psilocybe caerulescens Murrill
Deprecated Synonym(s): Psilocybe weilii Guzmán, Stamets & F. Tapia, Weilii, Psilocybe caerulescens var. albida R. Heim, Psilocybe mazatecorum R. Heim, Psilocybe caerulescens var. nigripes R. Heim, Psilocybe caribaea Guzmán, T.J. Baroni & Tapia

They were only differentiated by a microscopy mistake that has now been elucidated. I still call them weilii too, as that's what I grew up calling them
