Its been screwing up for a while. Used to be i could close the window and open a new one and it would be fine. But now its screwing up all the time. I tried installing the latest version but got the message saying a newer version was already in use. I tried to delete the old software but can't find it on the list. I already ran spybot search and destroy, found nothing. Maybe i should use malware bytes?

google 'reset internet explorer' then try that. also in internet options check your add ons in the 'manage add ons'. get rid of anything suspicious. google is your friend to look up anything your not recognizing.

I would suggest installing any other browser and never using IE again.

I had to restart the computer and now ie is working fine. I was thinking about doing that anyway but didn't want to have to find all my usual windows in each browser. BTW, torch browser seems to work great. Its better than opera imo. You almost have to have multiple browsers available in case one fucks up. For example, my fussy printer only would work on ie but I find it works perfect on torch. It works a little on opera but no good.
