Edible or poisonous? ID request for mushroom found in my backyard in India

Please let me know if the mushroom is edible or poisonous.


Habitat: long dead mango log, lying in our backyard on stone flooring

Gills: small round pores- light pink in color


Stem: half centimeter long with half centimeter diameter, off-white in colour, leathery hard same as fruiting body, solid, sessile


Cap:biggest is about 3 inches in kidney shape, faded dirt colored rings on off-white
concave cap




Spore print color: couldn't get one!


Bruising: normal color


Other information: leathery to touch, firm flesh

You can always tell a polypore or sometimes bolettes by the sponge like mass they have in place of gills.

posted more pics, ventral part too.. no gills , just pores, but not spongy, leathery to touch.. just spongy in appearance..

DO LET ME KNOW IF IT IS EDIBLE OR NOT

Honestly I would wait for one of the trusted identifiers to get back to you. I can offer suggestions and potential leads, but am still in the process of learning mushroom identification.

Still, wait for a trusted identifier, but I can tell you that there are not psilocybin containing pored mushrooms.

Definitely not edible but you might want to make a tincture out of it. There are a few folks here who are really into conks that will be able to ID it. I know the cinnamon bracket is poisonous and maybe a couple others, but most people don't try to eat conks as they are quite tough.
