Psychedelic classic orchestral fusion

Some parts remind me so much of some early floyd, which they definitely were influenced by I am sure.

Other parts remind me of Alice In Wonderland or something.

Anyways enjoy, if you make it all the way through kudo's to you  I am going for it, I didn't finish it yesterday becouse I got distracted.

Such great rhythm and lead though, such intricately weird music. Some of the song change ups are amazing in how fast the switch it up.

Very interesting guitar work and super crazy keys stuff.

:jamming:

I am in love with some of the odd timing and harmonies, so groovy and also incredibly dissonant at times but they bring it together really well.

Anyways just wanted to rant about this bizarre piece of music I have come to love

Would be better suited in the music, art, & media threads. Wow, Pretty frikken cool so far. Very mystical. Thanks for sharing, I like stuff like this. Going to listen to it until it's time to eat. I bet it'd be one hell of a trip if you listened to this on mushrooms or L.

I recommend you check out Ash Ra Tempel. In specific their Seven Up album.

It is definitely a very trippy mystical album, it would be pretty amazing tripping on most stuff I bet. Parts of it get pretty chaotic but overall its very beautiful.

Last I checked the music section here was pretty dead usually, though it has been awhile. I tend to just post music here though anyways

I am about to be 30 minutes into this but when I finish I will check em out.

Right now I'm at 27 minutes. (Haven't skipped anything.)

& Yeah, true. I tried to make an ongoing thread there dedicated to psychedelic music from the 60's but unfortunately it's dead now... It only got to 2 or 3 pages long & most of the posts were made by me & another member named caman. Last post was made by me about two weeks ago.

Once again, thanks a lot for sharing this man. I really like it. I bet an actual CD or album would be pretty hard to come by.

You must have gotten to the dissonant part towards the end right after posting that

I just finished it a bit ago and just started Sevun Up which seems pretty groovin so far. Nice n bluesy.

I think I have attempted threads like that or at least been a part of some but it is hard to keep em going.

A lot of the time it ends up being mostly one or two people like that

You are very welcome man, I was pretty stoked when I came across it on youtube. Actually thanks to another member on here sharing some obscure jazz with me.

Finished the whole thing a couple minutes ago, start to finish. What a great listen!

That's how I found that band Ash Ra Tampel, someone here on the shroomery (in the psychedelic music thread I created) shared it.

That seven up album was a pretty great listen too, very weird though.

Interesting Leery was involved with the album how he was, interesting concept around the album as well.

BUMP!

I think more people need to hear this. If you're a fan of obscure psychedelic music you will very much enjoy this album.

I have tried sharing it at least once before but I think you are the only one who really got it, so kudo's to you.

I downloaded the album from youtube and have it on my phone now, so nice being able to put it on at a whim.

Such a great album for going on a walk out in nature or pretty much anything really.

I wish I knew what synth their keys player uses, I love the tones on that album.

Yeah man, it is one hell of an album! That's for sure. The musicians are extremely talented. It's crazy how good people can get... I listened to a little over half of it again today-I got to around the 25 minute mark. I would've finished it again but it was time for me to eat. I'm not sure if you ever played the old school sega game called "Golden Axe" but a lot of the noises, especially the keyboard/synth, reminds me of the soundtrack from that game. More people need to hear this music. I can't wait to listen to this whole thing on my next L trip. Should be sometime this weekend. Cheers man.

The band is Klockwerk Orange. The album is called Abrakadabra. From the title of the video it says that they were an Austrian band. The album itself is from 1975. Definitely check it out if you're pretty into bizarre, far out psychedelic music. When you're finished giving it a listen, come back & tell us if you liked it or not.

Next time I go for an intense meditation or psych sesh I will have to put it on.

I listened to it on the comedown of a nice DOM experience and it was amazing, I bet on the peak of something else would be mindblowing.
