NEW ID REQUEST FURTHER DOWN THIS POST! all same details
Habitat: found it randomly poking out of some short grass, on it's own, England Gills: dark
Stem: 3-4cm, 2-3mm, light silvery, sturdy.. if that makes sense - made a satisfying "snap" when i pulled it up, appears to be hollow?
Cap: ~1.5cm, beigy brown, rubbery, conical, pointy
Spore print color: not sure yet!
Bruising: browny/dark
Other information: Hey guys- me again for an ID you guys were amazing last time - almost instant reply with completely accurate ID, so i truly do thank you all for your expertise and generosity to help others less mushroom-minded so, after my first spectacularly unsuccessful hunt - resulting in a tin full of the complete wrong species
i've just been out to a local field to see whats about
i've not got much hope for these but what do you guys think, specifically that big middle one - the others looked very different under torchlight but i left them in the picture and can disclose more info if one of you guys thinks it's a possible candidate

we also put pants then trousers on in the mornings, then put refuse in the bin - and put it in the boot of the car, drive it down to the car-park (on the left side of the road) and put it in the skip being sure there's no torches in the bin-bags
that probably made no sense - but you get what i was trying to do xD hahaha

One of those is a liberty cap. It's the one in the middle of the second picture, vertically.

You know I thought so,but I've never found one,so I don't really know too much about them,so I kept the thought to myself.

you sir, you just made my day now just to find more!
i'm guessing if there's one - there'd be more in the immediate area? it seemed to be alone where it was but i was using a FLASHLIGHT so it was beyond "bad hunting conditions" lol

I sometimes do that and turn out to be wrong, so it's not always a bad thing.

I'd be very surprised if that was the only one.

NEW ID REQUESTFOUND SOME MORE GUYS! bit of a necro post but considering i returned to the same field - and all details on the 'shrooms are the same - i feel it'd be pointless opening a new thread the lighter color ones i'm pretty certain are liberty cap whereas the darker brown are a little more questionable - but bear the same traits as the lighter ones a "pimple" at the top, dark "rim" around the edge can someone just cast their eye over these - how much do libery cap vary in color? http://i.imgur.com/MnmzmGy.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/VkkiI1L.jpgand the 3 darker ones in question: http://i.imgur.com/QoWFHun.jpgcome to think of it that bigger dark one doesn't look likely - may toss it out just cause it's not a definite what you guys think? EDIT: the large dark one has brightened up significantly after being sat on my desk a while :o can see a pimple at the top quite clearly now http://i.imgur.com/E29X0ZL.jpgit's actually gone even lighter as i took that pic ~20 mins ago is this the shroom starting to dry out? :o learning all the time

They're all liberty caps.
Yes, the drying out makes them first lighter, then much smaller.
