Boletes - Edible?

So far, since I have been mushroom hunting, every bolete that I have found bruises blue instantly, usually has red pores, or if not that, is very bitter. These do not taste bitter, have yellow caps and gills, and I notice no brusing. Are these edible?
I took the ones that were not infested with bugs.
Habitat: Under pine

Gills: Pores/yellow
Bruising: No bruising

those are sullius, and not something you would enjoy eating.

I tasted and spit the bite out. I am pretty sure that is okay and one of the ways to help identify.

I have them deep frying right now with some seasoned bread crumbs! I'll only take a bite and make sure I don't have any kind of reaction. If all is fine later tonight I'll have the rest. I did peel them also.

I ate an entire cap, and it tasted pretty yummy, however I slightly overcooked them. I get off work at 12am, so if all is fine by then, I'll have a feast.

Not when it comes to Tylopilus.
Not in this case i guess, but "generally" I would say its bad practice
Hmmm, some of from my literature, its stating there's no deadly Boletes? But then it goes on to read that Boletes staining blue instantly are to be avoided? as well as red boletes...
My notes must be documented from an older read... Anyone know of an up to date key or guide for these? I have always avoided Boletes because for some reason they are un-appealing, However,

This has me intrigued
Edit: I guess Simon and Schuster's Guide as well as Mushrms Demystified states these as edible.

Yeah,it's ok in some instances, but I agree with you,not good practice for other types mushrooms. Boletes are some delicious morsels, you should try them out one day

I have been tasting pored mushrooms before I pick them because if they are super bitter they are not worth taking.

Have you tried any shaggy manes yet? They're popping up all over. They're delicious too if you can get them before they start to turn black.

I haven't seen any shaggy mane before. Kind of looks like amanita from the pics I just looked at. So if I find any I'll definitely get them identified here before eating any.

8 years ago during the first week that we moved to the country, 3-4 shaggys popped up in the yard and i let them go one day too long. every spring and summer i expect to look out and see some...they've never returned.
i use no pesticides except insecticidal soap and def no fungicides, but they have forsaken me.

These have been poppin up in my neighborhood and I'm planning on try to clone, although I haven't found good information how to go about it.
First though I have a mushroom terrorist neighbor picking and throwing them in the road,,,,, so I gotta beat him to them

It does seem like they don't come back in the same spots, but around there should be more
