I'm grateful that Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, the singer of Motörhead, was able to go full speed ahead almost right up until his death at age 70 yesterday, and that his death was swift and merciful.
RIP Lemmy. 1945-2015

Today I am grateful to have made it through a night tripping at work, with the half bottle of vodka that now sits in my belly providing a wonderfully calming effect.
To be fair though, I give thanks every day for my existence here.

... that staying sober at last night's super party turned out to be so nice.
1000+ people, costumes, masques, glitter, skin suits, gimps, gandalfs, topless elves, lasers, smoke and strobes, and an all round pill-popping, tabs-dropping crowd going absolutely mad.
Stayed sober. Unnatural and odd. But I danced more, and longer (and better) than most. And when everyone was lock jawed, wired, cross eyed, and chewy I was still as straight as a ruler. All broad smiled and fired up.
Allowed me to have a very good look at some of my fellow freaks. Interesting, .. and funny too
If you ever have the chance, go to the "Ballonnenfeest" in Paradiso Amsterdam, last week of december. You'll have a blast.
Love, Hanz.
