Substrate too light?
    #2217561 - 01/04/04 01:12 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

My friend George Dubya just finished making his first batch of brf cake substrait and it looks VERY light compaired to all the pictures he's seen. It looks like he used regular bleached flour but he was very carefull to get the compeatly organic brf. I think mabey he used too much? He went with the PF TEK suggestion and used 3 cups verm, 1 1/2 cups h2o, and 1 1/2 cups brf. Is he just a paranoid noob? Or should it be darker in color? (Sorry he doesnt have a digi cam.)

everything is fine, you used the correct ratio's.
the color difference could be anything from it being a different brand of brf or different verm, even just the photographs in the pf tek may not show the true color.
