Question about Shocking your jars

With BRF jars that have stalled half-colonized and refuse to go on further, no sign of contam, no sign of further mycelial colonozing either. Is there a method to Temperature shock the mycelium into re-colonizing, I am trying to salvage them, I may end up just breaking them up into spawn tho.

no, cubes are tropical, they slow down and stall at fridge temperatures. we put them in the fridge to stall them if you won't want to use them right away.
72-75F is their most optimal range. 68-72F is perfect 65-75F is great
if they're not fully colonized I wouldn't use them as spawn, if they're not fully colonized something went wrong, IE the worst material to use as spawn.

How long has it been since the jars stopped colonizing? And pics would help.

Those are two completely different temperature ranges. Not even nested like the "great" one. What's your angle sir?

72-75 is when they'll grow fastest. 75-81 is not a great improvement but brings on added bacterial contamination risks
68-72 is room temperature. it's a very good range because it doesn't encourage any bacteria problems but it's also a range in which cubensis mycelium rips along
65-75 is a very acceptable range for cubensis colonization.
I myself prefer to stay under 75 but think 68-72F is the perfect range for cubes. if you go above 75F I would suggest turning the AC on. but if you're between 72-75F I wouldn't worry things might just go a bit more quickly

They stalled for about a week. Its funny...my flax seed jars finished colonizing in 2 weeks.

Interesting.. I've never heard of anyone using flaxseed as grain spawn. I would imagine there would be a lot of burst grains during the simmering process. Is there a tek for that?

Well honestly I like experimenting with things. Granted there's a high fail % but discovering something new is pretty cool. I also mess around with chemistry a bit...so when people say that won't work...or that shouldn't work...I take itnas a challenge. My next test is actually supplying a colony with fluids and nutrients via IV similar to how people receive fluids through IV with a drip rate...possibly eliminating misting...biggest concern is contams same in people too

Im not talking about eating a poisonous mushroom that someone says, "dont eat that youll die"
"Or thats a contam it wont work"
thats obvious stuff, thats had extensive research done it. Im referring to things that have NOT been tried, not even experimented with once, just to see....and for people to ASSUME it wont work because thats just what they think IMO give you...is dumb. Now dont take offense to that, everyone is entitled to their thoughts, but encouraging experiments with the knowledge at hand is how you INCREASE that knowledge.
For example: Do you think anyone told that scientist to throw out his moldy cheese, because it was contaminated? saying: "Dude dont eat that, its got mold ALLLLL over it"
And he says "yea im not going to eat it, but look here! Why isnt there any bacteria in this area right next to it? hmmmm....maybe ill keep it and do some experiments, Wahla! penicillin.
anyways im done ranting, thanks for the advise and input.
