What are these?
    #22174103 - 09/01/15 01:49 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

Habitat:
found it in a local wood, clustered underneath ferns and other cover - never out in the open, England

Gills:
white gills

Stem:
varying, though max about 5-10cm, 1-2mm wide, beige, smooth, hollow with a whitish liquid seeping once picked

Cap:
varying between about 5mm to 2cm, beige with dark brown "tip" - fading to a white at the very edge frills, smooth

Spore print color:
clear? i pressed a cap against a peice of paper - just made a wet print of the gills

Bruising:
none really

Other information:
no sense of smell - so can't say

picked a load just incase they are indeed what i hope they are

thankyou all for your expertise in advance

Yes, those are not psychoactive. I believe any psychoactive Mycenas will also have a white print, but I may be wrong. I suspect active ones are rather rare.

you have to let the cap sit on the paper for a few hours, or more for a more defined print. Give it more time and see if there's a difference?

Since they have a white print, you may want to do them on black paper. A few hours ought to be long enough.

Depends where you live, i've found 1610 liberty caps already throughout august.

I give you the choice of 2 pills.

With each containing one of the following:
Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk?
Didn't think so.

This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

1610?? damn!
send me some wahaha

i've decided to go back and check again in more remote areas - it's a popular shroom spot so i fear all the "easy pickings" have been taken :frown:
i'm midwest UK if that changes anything on the time they'll grow?
