I'd say an enormous one. The thought that this guy thinks he can win the presidency ... I mean Jesus H Christ ... Graham and Jindal lead the pack of total nitwits in this race.
Who would possible vote for those two idiots?

An extraordinarily large one.
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

If you look at the GOP primary poll numbers in ascending order, it starts out with you thinking "okay, maybe there is some sanity left in the party." All the batshit mainstays with single digit numbers, from Cruz at 9 points to Jindal at 0.3 points.
Then you notice Trump is at the bottom (top) with 30 points. And you laugh and laugh...

I think it's easy to understand Trump. He is the ultimate "I don't trust the political system" candidate. People aren't that interested in his positions. What they're interested in is a guy that would bring in a completely different team of advisors and executives to work on the nation's problems. That's what his support is based on. And, they like the fact that he's telling the Bushes and Clintons to fuck off and get lost. People like that.

I'm glad the GOP base is finally pissed off, but they chose a pretty bad answer to their problem.
Trump gets beat by Hillary, Biden, AND Sanders in a general, based on current polls.

So WHO is the answer to this problem? Who can get their hands on enough money to break through, get noticed and actually compete with establishment candidates? Who has the name ID and sheer bravado to take it all on. On the Democrats side, I think that guy was Ralph Nader. Talk about a whistle clean messenger! And he was treated like a toxic mutant candidate by the press and never ever got a chance. Trump is a rare individual that seem able to beat the press and establishment at their own game.
It's not that Trump is a great candidate it's that these GREAT CANDIDATES never ever emerge because they can't get the money or can't handle the press in a way that allows them to really emerge. Like him or hate him, Trump has transcended those two barriers.
