lol, your quibbles don't impress me.
i live with my parents. so what. the world is overly urbanized as it is. i don't need to live with Jo' Jack and Steve Stevens, the bong-wielding hustler cookbook artists, to feel independent, transient as ever; nope, my parents are fine with me here, and i do what i need to do to keep the house tidy and i receive room and board. i do my share. i never eat house and home, and i'm not that hungry anyway.

You know me better than that. Remember my human test subject thread?
I don't really think what he did is all that unethical though. How many songs out there share the exact same melody? Chord patterns? Nearly every creative work is inspired by something else.
I'm assuming he used recipes from a number of different books instead of just one. No one owns the rights to using a blender or putting some shit in an oven. Plus he undercut the competition.
Selling stuff at a more reasonable price like he did actually seems pretty ethical to me.

it's unprincipled. it's a get rich quick scheme, not a ovation, surely, of the principal's of finance.
he's undercutting his competition by using their own methods, what chutzpah! bravo!

I only read the first page but why not say you were a stay at home dad/mom? If you don't mind starting off on a real serious lie that you will be maintaining as long as you have the job, why not? Have someone else's kids pictures on your phone and practice remembering the fake names and ages. People hire people with kids, in fact not having kids is a considered a bad sign by many employers. As long as there are no benefits or something you need to put a name down for how can anyone check that you really have kids? It's better than saying you sat at home doing drugs in your parents basement for 10 years.

wouldn't that be an idiosyncratic irony of wallowing proportions to you; the epitome of my blunders? to never have worked in ten years and GASP have to find a job?
what sin, what drollery, what, am i in cahoots with Dionysus himself?
oh no, i'll have really lived up to your expectations and then some, wouldn't i? oh Good Lord, i'll be ill-prepared! In pecunia speramus! i can't survive without become rich first, oh the humanity!
my words through this thread entire will be but a foolish panegyric of myself!
PS: yeah, that is not something i'm worried about.
i can manage with low-income, i only can't manage with the middle-class, because it's at this point nothing but a sham.
but i don't press myself to get rich quick either, because it only inflates the middle-class.
though i'm meek, i'm not a barbarian.

Not sure if this has been said or not, but you're a perfect candidate for Disability. Since you haven't worked for 10 yrs, SSD is off the table, but SSI would be something to look into. I've been on SSD since age 46 (I'm 61 now) & although it isn't a lot of $$$, you can get by on it. I prefer being 'retired'. Never get bored & can wake up whenever I please. I got my SSD for depression & take Klonopins for anxiety. So not only can I relax...I can really relax.
