Georgia id request
    #22170803 - 08/31/15 07:28 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

I found a few different species. All located in the same area. I'm in the metro Atlanta area. The mushrooms were found in woodchips underneath pine and sweetgum trees.

Here is their habitat.

Species #1

Species #2

Species #3

Species #4

Species #5

Species #6

Species #7 Bonus mushroom. This one has doesn't have any gills.

I was thinking the #1 was a Gymnopilus sp. Is it a mushroom that is considered palatable?

No, it bled a clear fluid. It might have been a slightly pink liquid?

#4 appears to be a Pluteus sp. the spore print is pink.

I've never come across anyone who has talked about gymnopilus, I'm intrigued now because the first picture I posted should be a gymnopilus grouping.
