Salvia v Spice (K2) experience

I have only done spice (twice) and it was by far the most frightening experience I have ever gone through. I hear a lot about how Salvia is not to be messed with and is as frightening as Spice, where the two seem to be in a league of their own. While I know they are different, I was wondering if anyone has done both, and what the similarities/ differences in experience and which one is more terrifying.

Salvia gets a bad rap because everybody tries smoking it first. Look up salvia quid. Quid simply means you chew the leaves, or some people just stick a wad of leaf in their cheek and let it sit there i think.
When salvia is ingested in this way, the experience is much more mild and longer lasting, being roughly an hour in duration. Not that the experience isn't strong, terence mckenna spoke very highly of it.
I'm sure smoking is still worthwhile but it sounds..idk, harsher.
And now I have to question your choice in drugs. On probation or underage? Spice is bad news dude.

It really depends on how you use those substances. ive seen people bad trip balls on spice for like 45 mins twiching crying really low saying delusional nonsense ,and i my self got knocked by the spice.
but i imagine a safe user can definitly use it in normal dose and not be knocked out and just ride a buzz (but imo spice is a shitty and dangereous drug)
for the salvia, its different, if youre aiming for the sky with smoking extract, the trip is only 10-15 min top ,contrary to the spice drunken feeling of dying ,its a more like a trip in your mind with alot of confusion. really weird feeling everwhere in the body .really weird stuff you can like actualy experience being something else.
but a wiser user with a normal dose can just have a nice buzz and small cev and ride a nice and relaxing buzz, instead of being catapulted into other realms.
like a smart dude said once: The Difference Between Medicine And Poison Is In The Dose
Edit:that being said not implying spice is a medicine, just saying the dose can be life and death with spice.im sure you can legit die from smoking too much spice, but with salvia it can be intense or less intense ,but not lethal

I did spice twice in the space of a week around 10 months ago and never touched it again, and never will. Like people often say with salvia, you forget who you are, and that you ever took the drug, and don't know what life is etc, but this is common with spice. They seem pretty common. So on salvia, do you not have the feeling of ego death like spice? Am I right in thinking a terrible experience where smoking too much of spice is more frightening than that of salvia, or are they too different feelings? They both seem similar in regards to disconnection from the body and mind, trying to understand what you feel on salvia that you don't on spice and vice versa.

Spice almost killed me with 1 hit couples years back. Brand was "Outer edge" ..
fuck that... for me at least. I don't think I'l experiment with cannabanoids until someone finds a PERFECT one that's VERY safe.
Now salvia.. I do want to experiment with.

Voodoochild, I enjoyed your post man. Gave me some insight into salvia. Has some common intense effects as Spice. Have you done spice?

Salvia is safe, and I've had amazing effects with salvia, just know your dose.
Voodoo had a bad experience because he smoked quite a bit of an extremely high extract. It'd be similar if he downed 20 grams of cubes. The intensity of salvia can be through the roof, but you just have to know your dose.
I suggest trying salvia, plain leaf is the best to get the salvia feel, most extracts are too strong and harsh. And it's SO much easier to take too much with extracts.
I love salvia, it's extremely safe on the body, and can be such a great teacher. Show salvia respect, and start low.
I have never done spice, and I don't plan to btw.

I think it varies from person to person. I personally don't bother with either.Salvia gives me a dissociative feeling and spice just makes my brain pretty hot. I'll stick with the cheeba haha.

i smoked spice for 2 weeks straight at one point, even at work some days, (low dose ofc) first time i tried a large dose, was pretty scary only cause i had the loop effect and didnt know if it would end, apart from that it was an amazing experience waves of pleasure one after another going throughout my body, and the place you goto on it.. really good visuals, (kinda like a dreamworld, hard to remember when its over) low dosing isnt worth it at all..

I am from Melbourne too man, don't hear much about it here, doesn't seem that easy to get. Ps I know what you mean about the continous loop from spice, it was extremely distressing.

Iv'e done both & can honestly say spice is shit. It has a consistency of ground up carpet & tastes like a tire. Also it's incredibly unhealthy, read up on some articles about the epidemic in NY & China.. Salvia on the other hand is enjoyable if approached with knowledge & understanding of it's effects on you. The first time I took salvia it was an extract(not sure what x it was) but I remember my buddy saying it was pretty potent. He loaded up an average bong bowl and said the only way for it to work was to torch the whole thing and hold it in.. Did that & in the time smoke was coming out of my mouth my whole world caved in on itself, colors started shooting everywhere, then out of nowhere some alien looking chick in an all purple outfit with blackness surrounding her said "GO!" and my vision shot into her purple outfit, then i wokeup on the floor with people screaming at me to wake up. Scary shit, but after doing research I took smaller doses, and ended up enjoying it in small amounts.

If they were screaming at you to wake up, they sound like they had no knowledge of salvia beforehand. Salvia has such a low toxicity. Plus loading a whole bongful of extract is what causes people to have these bad experiences.
These darn kids

the chemicals in spice vary from pack to pack. some brands of spice are a lot more intense even with relatively low doses, some you can pack the cone like it was normal bud and get just a buzz..
