Does your tolerance for hallucinogens get better as you get older?

In a very slight way it gets worse....for me at least. Mushrooms cause me an anxiety now. But every other hallucinogen I tolerate much better. Like I had a bad trip friday (on LSD), but it was no big deal at all. When I was 19 (I'm 25 now), I had a bad trip on LSD and it made my life really bad for a while, a living hell. Now it's like, once I wake up after a trip, everything is normal again. I expect that when I'm 30 this notion will be even more true, and so on.
I should've never done hallucinogens until I was 24 or so...but the past is the past. The point remains that I can tolerate hallucinogens much better than i used to. What do you think?

if you didn't start til 24 the you might not be at this point til 30, maybe what you're describing is simply more experience and acquaintance to tripping

I do agree there are some advantages of starting younger. You get acquainted at a younger age if you start younger. There probably is some mathematical formula of percentages though. Maybe I don't wind this way until I'm 28....as the transition period of 19--->25 is equivalent to the transition period of 24---->28. Just speculating though. Interested in others opinions. You bring up a good point.

the older you get the more inclined you are to extend the interval between trips, so tolerance is not really an issue. The young and the foolish want a trip every 4 days, every week. Of course they are going to build up tolerance until no amount of substance is going to be enough to float the boat.

Cut back the proliferating list of people whose opinions can hurt you. Unless they have done or want to do you some good, their views are just not worth tracking. Saul Bellow “People are just cannibals unless they leave each other alone.” Doris Lessing Those whom the gods would save, they dower with compassion. Mr. P. Silocybin

I'm not talking that type of tolerance, but ability to tolerate the drug. It's the other way around with me actually. When I first used hallucinogens I was so careful to space out my trip AT LEAST 7 days....usually 14 days. Then I started becoming careless and would use the drug twice in one night...two days in a row, etc...
Idk what's wrong with me tbh.

I think i was 16 when i first tripped on shrooms, then again when i was 17. I tripped 3-5 times from 17-21, this year i have tripped probably 12-15 times now, between cubes, truffles are my new addiction.
First couple trips were hard, i tripped hard while camping when i was 17, it was the worst trip I would say.
Now, its alot different, I havn't really had a bad trip, more of a trip that made me mad that lasted 2 hours because of various reasons. On a level 4 trip, i love it, when i was 16, 17 a level 2 trip was alot to comprehend.
