Sterilizing Syringe

I have done a little research on re-using syringes, next step is to clean them out and sterilize them. I have read that you can PC them, but wouldnt that cause damage to the reservoir? Disassembling the syringe from needle, to drawing plug, to the resevoir and placing them in a jar wrapped in alluminum foil.
Sound good? Or will I end up with a jar full of melted plastic and and needles?

I wrap the entire syringe in foil and just on top of whatever i am pc'ing that day. You can also do the boiling water thing. Just draw boiling water into syringe, let stay few minutes, in out in out and so on.

I've never used a plastic syringe that couldn't be sterilized. I've never had one melt on me.

Few times for me the plunger got a bit stuck though, hard to pull up and down. Just discarded those ones, i figure it was the plastic at the base of the plunger got fucked somehow

I just suck boiling water up 7 times and squirt it out, then suck it up 1 last time and let it cool. Muda also uses this technique. Never had any issues and I reused the same syringe for over a year with nothing but this method.

I too would have more faith in the PC rather than boiling water...
Foil is very popular here.
I see some people on here putting them in a jar and then pc'ing... Also don't cook them with water in them while assembled. Water expands when hot, no good for syringes..
In the lab we would take them apart soak in alcohol and then autoclave them. I think alcohol over time rusts the needle more quickly, or at least this was my experience.

The boiling water works just fine.. If you feel the need to PC them, by all means I won't stop you. I would say it is a better method, just not a needed step.
