I think it's about 10 months. My record keeping last year was subpar, to say the least... Definitely less than a year though...

I'd be very happy to have 3 of those in just over half a year
Very nice.

I'm telling you, once they get like 6 pairs of leaves or so, they REALLY take off with their growth. Springtime's arrival about that time probably helped wake it up too, but I feel like I've practically watched this thing grow every day.
It's slowed down it's growth recently, though. I need to check and make sure it hasn't become root-bound or anything.

I think tomorrow morning I may post another photo update. They're healthy and growing, they don't look all nice and clean like yours does now but... I'm not complaining.

#1 has gradually started looking less and less healthy. This morning her damaged first set of infant leaves are almost all shriveled, and she looked dry. I sprayed her with some water and then covered her with a misted glass cylinder covered with loose plastic...

It just takes a little patience. Now is a good time to start them, start plants indoors during the winter and put them out in spring to take off.

I read this and thought to myself, what a great idea - I should start some more.
Needless to say, I've got some more berries coming my way.

After putting the dome back on #1 started looking better (within a day), so I decided to put the other two back under domes as well to see what happens.

Check for berry trades in the marketplace in a couple weeks. I predict there will be some available.

Yea you can find them in the marketplace here and there but the people that have them always want way to much which makes it not even worth it.
I thought about it last year but after talking to the only 2 people that trade or sale them on here I decided the price was WAY to high to make it worth my while

Thanks a bunch, I think I found what I need there. My other source is acting funny (which oddly enough isn't exactly out of the norm for him), so I think I'm done with him. I appreciate he pointers.

Yeah, I don't enjoy the steep prices either. They are fun to grow and rare as hell, so it's worth it to me... As far as someone growing to sell, it may not be "worth" it to them. It's a hobby that keeps me out of trouble, so the expense isn't that big of a hit.

A friendly reminder folks : Source discussion/request is NOT allowed. Imagine if we all posted with our "predictions" of what will soon be up for trade Try to keep away from even implicit source chat and keep on topic.

Nice plant cRm. I've got 5 seedlings that I can't remember when I started them, but they're still tiny as all hell. Maybe 3" tall. They just have gotten 3-4 sets of leaves. I gave them their first dose of derts the other day but I think I might have burned them a little. So I flushed them this morning. They're still in 2" peat pellets. Probably would do them some good to be put in a real pot. What kind of light do you give yours?

Thanks. It lives in a western facing window. It kind of gets direct(ish) light through the window from like 3 till sunset through the window. But that light is somewhat diffused from the treetops. It doesn't need a ton of light. IME at that age, they are just changing to their 'adult' needs. Humidity can be dropped down slowly towards room humidity and you can start letting their soil dry between waterings (try to ease into that). They also need to be eased gently into ferts (like you seem to have found, I think even at this stage they are a little young for them though). Even when they are older, though, they still don't take a lot of ferts. Once they get just a little older than the ones you have and really take off with growth, they are really laid back plants. No high lighting demands, they like to dry out between waterings so no huge watering schedule, and no need to fuss too much about ferts....

Well, it's getting cold out, and I've got to organize inside. My novo collection is going to multiply here by a lot, which means I'm probably going to have to utilize my tent 4x4x6 (approximately). If I were to throw the novos in there, anyone have any idea how much lighting I should use?
I will also have some sun loving species (unrelated) too, I'm wondering if I should just do high powered lighting and shade the novos underneath maybe a shelf with the sun lovers on it?

Hmmm. You just left my limited realm of expertise... I have vertually no experience with grow tents or any strong lighting.
...I'm gonna sit back and wait for someone's else's opinion on this one...

400watts would be plenty, its the light schedule you put them on that matters. Remember they dont need a lot of direct light. I'd say slowly acclimate them to getting maybe 3-4 hours under the light
