Contaminant or mycelium ?

I recently tried to make a clone of one of the most well known mushrooms on this forum (I would prefer not to say which species if that can be avoided ) After about 5 days of growing the plate looked like picture 1. and 2. and since this mushroom species is know to have snow white mycelium I figured that what I see on the plate must be some contaminant and that the cloning failed. So I decided to terminate the plate and poured some H2O2 over it like I always do...and in less than a second the "contaminant" changed colour and stared looking exactly like mycelium should (picture 3.). Was I wrong and this was actual mycelium or was it some weird contaminant that reacted with H2O2 ?

A little over two weeks into this process and I've been worries about brown/greenish areasof this jar.

You can see it at the top of this jar with dense mycelium crowding near it. (same jar)
Heres is a comparison. On right:other jar On left: contam. suspect.
Thank you for taking the time to look at this post, I'd appreciate some feedback.

What do you mean ? pictures 1. and 2. are from before H2O2 was poured over the plate (I took pictures because I was debating if I should post them on here and ask if there is any chance that is mycelium... but more I looked at it, more sure I was that that isn't mycelium so I decided to terminate). And after I poured H2O2 over the plate picture 3. was taken.

The material ur cloning worth doesn't appear to be in its prime... I dunno what shroom it's from but im guessing the mushroom itself wasn't black??? Is this the gills? Stipe? Cap?
That third picture does kind of look like healthy mycelium, and h2o2 at a weak solution has on occasion been shown to de-contam and revive a colony every once in a while....
I don't think there is anyone who can give you a for sure answer being as we aren't there to thoroughly inspect... If u still want to try and spawn it, that is entirely up to you.
If you do decide to spawn it I wouldn't mix it with other cultures. Keep it separate and keep close eye on it for any discoloration or odd scent.
Do you have another cloned plate that is healthy for comparison???

The more I think about it if you are gonna keep it,,, dig that big rotting looking piece out of it so the mycelium can do its thing.
Also are those black specks debris from when u made the plate or did they form during the cloning attempt?

Don't dig shit out.. that's a great way of introducing contams. Open dishes when they're finished/ready for a transfer. Transfer away from contams and let it grow out clean. Don't dig contams out! No way in hell I'd trust any of those. Especially pic 3 (the post h2o2). All of those are toast.
Why wouldn't I trust it? It's not remotely organized
