People that jack your lighters

I'm sure this has been said somewhere before, it's annoying when your lighter stash shrinks to nothing. I have an unsmoked bowl of DMT waiting for me, but alas my last lighter is missing.

I wish it were just a color thing, but I may try that when I go get some more.

Get one of those retractable things office guys use on their key cards. When people bum a light, it will go zip and return to your hip or pocket. Or buy a million pack.

This is why I always carried 3 or 4 lighters. Well one of the reasons anyways. There was also always the issue of setting the fucking thing down while high and could never find it. After awhile that gets tiresome. So I just kept enough around me at all times that it became basically impossible to be without one.
As for people who walk off with lighters, yeah it used to piss me off. It's even worse when you're like "Can I have my lighter back?" and they get all fucking insulted that you actually asked for your own property back. Like "Yeah dude, when you asked for a light to light your cigarette I totally meant just keep it".
But yeah, do yourself a favor and just go buy a couple of five packs. Stuff a few around your smoking area in various spots, and keep a few in your pockets whenever you go out. Makes things so much easier.

Yup, I always have at least 2 on me. There's a spot between the seat and center console in my car that's nearly impossible to get my hand into, especially when driving, so if I ever need one really badly, I just go fish out the 1-3 lighters that I've dropped in there by accident.
I try not to let people steal them though. It only happens when I get drunk and forget. I don't smoke weed but I remember it happening a lot back when I did, too.
If someone steals one of yours again, you should tie a rope around a new one. Then you can swing the new one from the end of the rope into their kneecaps and get your old lighter back.

Zippos suck for pipes and so do torches. If you're using a torch on a bowl of weed, you're doing it wrong.
Besides, people will walk off with those just as easily. Even when I was smoking cigs (because I always preferred a zippo for them) I always carried a bic or two just in case anyone asked me for a light. I would never hand over my zippo. Someone tries to walk off with my zippo (they were never the cheap ronson drug store ones) we're gonna have fucking problems.

In some cases they make sense, more for personal use so you don't lose it yourself. Handing someone a lighter attached to you to light a bowl or something though, is kinda weird. "Not long enough? Sorry, here let me point my crotch more awkwardly at your face".

I might have to try this one day just to see their reaction lol. Regardless of that I now own a shitload of lighters and have since had a wonderful trip.
