Google Sketchup. Easy (relatively) to use, and free.

^^^ Some examples of what I did in it, and I don't have any training whatsoever.

looks good, but I need a grid and lines, especially DOTTED lines! Can you do dotted lines in either paint or what you said?
EDIT: I mean 2dimensional drawings of lines and dots and dotted lines to indicate relative distances, cables and pipes.

You can draw lines yourself, and IIRC you can use a grid.
If you look at the first image you can see the lines I drew around the car to mark different dimensions. The platform itself only has the ones you see in the background for the different axis.
I dunno what application you need it for, Sketchup is basically a noob friendly autocad. If you're just trying to draw out some basic plans, paint might be the way to go. If you want to really plan out some kind of multi-layered schematic, I'd go with sketchup.

I use Inkscape for this kind of thing. It's more of less an open-source clone of Adobe Illustrator.

Try googling "ISO drawing software free". I'm on my phone or I would link you.
If you're making ISO's square grids aren't preferable. You want the 60 degree out ones.

Isometric, eh?
Well, I got Librecad for him. I'm struggling with the manual, currently. At least it's free, bosses like free software
Thanks for the help guys!
And sorry that I had to type so quickly, my boss doesn't like people dicking around, social media, and drugs. So...
