My name has been slandered and lies told about me so it would make sense that these lies would give people incentive to harass me. I believe they think of themselves as a vigilante group. In reality they are just a bunch of gossiping losers that are nothing but a burden on society. That's my take on it anyways.
These are delusions, but telling someone that is useless since sufferers are notoriously resistant to accepting their persecution is not real

Ideas of reference and delusions of reference describe the phenomenon of an individual's experiencing innocuous events or mere coincidences[1] and believing they have strong personal significance.[2] It is "the notion that everything one perceives in the world relates to one's own destiny."[3]
In psychiatry, delusions of reference form part of the diagnostic criteria for psychotic illnesses such as schizophrenia,[4] delusional disorder, or bipolar disorder (during the elevated stages of mania). To a lesser extent, it can be a hallmark of paranoid personality disorder. Such symptoms can also be caused by intoxication, especially with hallucinogens or stimulants like methamphetamine.

I really treasure my privacy.
** I have two VPNs with multiple servers I use for internet privacy.
** I have a seedbox for my torrents.
** I use PGP in some emails.
** I have firewalls on both of my phones to keep all apps that shouldn't be sending and receiving data from doing so.
**I have security cameras on my house that set off alarms if triggered at times where I shouldn't be triggering them.
** I use a fake last name on everything online so if I get bullshit emails with the bunk last name or callers using the wrong last name I know how to deal with them.
** I study the statutes in my state that pertain to my privacy and rights
** I record all of my calls
** I have a hidden camera app that records even if home button is hit or if screen is off, it divides videos into 30 second increments and uploads them to a server where they can not be deleted without another password which isn't contained on the phone.
I'm not paroinoid either, I just like my privacy.

Mind telling me more about the firewalls on your phone? I may be interested in doing something similar.
And two VPNs? Do you pay for those or do you have a VPN server at home?

With obumble turning loose the nsa to spy on us unfettered, its getting worse every day. I'm hoping the next president will be an outsider not beholden to the big money people and will put a stop to it. Jeb is all in favor of spying on us and wants more of it. Need I say more? Hitlery is more of the same.

I use android, if you have android install No Root Firewall. You'll be suprised how many apps send data to facebook and amazon. I'm talking about apps that have no business using your data connection. My daughters baby hazel games even try to send and receive data. IHeartRadio even though I need it to be able to get online tries to use my data connection constantly even when I haven't used it for weeks. ES File explore constantly does the same shit. Once you install it you'll see how many apps use data that shouldn't and blocking them are as easy as clicking a box.
A VPN is a server somewhere else that your computer encrypts everything to so your ISP doesn't see what your doing.
Instead of your computer taking a path to google and your ISP sees your trying to goto google it always goes to your VPN then to google, all your ISP seen was you exchange data with an IP address and nothing more. Even your phone is setup to use VPNs. Every bit of data goes though your VPN before it gets to you and after it leaves you. Once connected your ISP would only see you exchange data with one IP address instead of google.com then yahoo.com then shroomery.com then what ever else you use. very cheap. like 6 $ a month. If one doesn't work I have a backup.

Yeah, apps like that and a vpn are a good start but when they record you constantly in public, they've got you anyway. License plate readers are going up all over the place, most cop cars have them and it records the plate of anyone ahead or behind. They have a record of where you were at what time which aids greatly in prosecuting you for some victimless crime.
We know the govt collects data on phone calls and stores all emails. PGP helps with that but so few use it that you are forced into plain text many times. Will sanders or trump change all that? We can only hope.

I am using Android. I'll have to take a look at that app. Thanks
I'm mostly familiar with how VPN's work, I was just curious as to why you have 2. I forgot one of the first rules of computers/electronics: redundancy.
Also, in concerns to OP, if 10 is then I'm somewhere between 6-8. I don't go overboard, but I've read quite a bit about the NSA and different flaws in computer systems. There's only so much an individual can do, but that doesn't mean we should just say "fuck it" and let them track everything we do.
Edit: Maybe I'm a 5-7 actually. I'm aware of this stuff and taking certain precautions, but I could be doing much more.

Paypal is a rip but its safer than giving your cc info over the net. A better solution if you are using cards online is to get a virtual card. I have one, I can go online and create a new account any time I want, specify the limit and expiration. The only one who can use the card is the first one who makes a charge to it.
Say for example you see something on a reputable site, or semi reputable, and you decide to take a chance and order. You give them the numbers and if an employee or hacker gets the numbers later, they can't do squat with them. It will be denied. I do that even with local companies like if I renew my subscription to the paper. If I can't swipe it I do it that way or pay cash. I have not had a fraudulent charge since I went with that system. And, you get the protection of a card if they don't send your goods or its not as described.

Well, sur, first you have to find a bank that offers the virtual card. I believe chase and boa do, perhaps others, do a google. The one I use also has a cash back rewards program I like because it gives me 2% back on groceries and the categories don't change every month like with some plans.
Just open an account making sure you can make a virtual card using the account, and you are all set.

I'm relatively unconcerned for some reason.
When I browse the dark web I don't even use VPN.

There was kid who heard his door opening and had the age old decision: pull up pants or hit x on porn. He chose to hit x as his dad came in. His dad looked in horror at screen and said they needed to talk. He turned around to see under the porn window his sister's facebook profile. Never switch off the porn pull up your pants instead. If you flipped it to a cooking show or shark attack show people are going to wonder why you are jerking off to that.
