Pan Cyan bulk/trays

Ive recently inoculated some quart jars(grain) with some pan cyan spores, and a couple of them have germinated and are showing promising growth. My pan is basically to spawn them in trays. And since i am using those metal baking dishes, i was going to spawn 1 quart of spawn to 2 quarts pasteurized poo/verm, and then case with a very thin layer of pasteurized jiffy mix.
After spawning, let it sit covered with foil(holes poked in it) for maybe 2-4 days in the SGFC, and then case it and immediately fruit. Mist and fan until the first pin appears, then stop misting and fanning until the pinset is in, and then keep fanning lightly.
Been reading different threads on pan growing and it seems there are many ways to do it. I recently tried the PF cake method with pans(same just using 1 part poo instead of 2 part verm, and i still haven't had growth, so that's a fail.
Given my plan, id like to know what you think about the method I plan on using. If there are any alterations you would make to the plan as far as spawn ratio, materials used, or preparations based on your successful experiences, it would be appreciated. I only have 2 quarts of spawn/4 quarts inoculated, so i would like to make them count
Also, i seem to be having trouble getting pan cyan to grow on agar, IDK if its the spores i have, but i have inoculated 3 different kinds of agar with them, and haven't had growth on any(not even bacterial )
thank you

from what I've read you're right on track. Remember they like a thin substrate. Your high amount of spawn is probably a good idea since pans are more easily contaminated I hear
I think I remember reading RR say you can still mist pans if you do it a certain way..

Maybe your spores aren't viable..

I'm about to start my first pan cyan as well. Pretty much using the same concept but I'm also adding straw to my substrate. Id like to see how this pans out for ya.

2-4 days would be very fast for cubes to colonize 1:2 bulk. Can't imagine pans would be faster. I also don't see why you'd colonize it in an sgfc.
My understanding is they prefer to fruit from a casing layer, so you might want to let them colonize that a bit.
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

from what I read you can fruit immediately once cased. But I thought you were supposed to keep them in a high humidity environment(SGFC once you spawned.
What do the rest of you guys think?

Fruit once the casing layer is applied, pans will chew through it fast

gotcha. after spawning, where would you recommend keeping the tray in the chamber or what?
and I only have 2 quarts going, I was going to use each in a tray to break it up.
As far as spawn, I think im going to throw about 50% straw in there with the hpoo

What would the proper temperature be for fruiting pan cyan? I've heard some say it can be done just like cubes and I've heard some fruit much warmer Sorry just trying to get a clear answer
