What do you think ?? The box was hard for me to work in front off so I threw this together today It's lined with a sheet of plastic shower surround material so I can blech and wipe down the box each time it's used

So it's now blowing down onto your work instead of across it? It should work, but seems like more work than you need to do. I've never had a problem working in front of a box.

that's a rather expensive box. if you were gonna do that from the get-go you could have gotten a much smaller filter for much cheaper.

I totally get where you're coming from. With this you will save horizontal room, plus you get the bonus of being able to inoculate taller objects (e.g. filter patch bags) much easier.

My girlfriends father and I just finished building this monster of a vertical flowhood. The vertical flow takes some getting used to but working in it is great.
