fruiting reishi?

I have two 6 quart tubs colonizing--the spawn was rye berries, the substrate is coir/shredded hardwood/gypsum. I don't have room in my fruiting chamber for these tubs. Can I fruit them in the open, adjusting the humidity by misting?
Also I have two quart jars of fully colonized rye berries. Can I just take the lids off these and fruit them that way? I can put these in a fruiting chamber. I have seen pics of reishi being fruited this way--but the jars seemed to be pints. I have quarts. I don't like to waste spawn by just fruiting a small percentage of it. I guess I could scoop out the spawn from the quart jars and put it into pints. Would this make better sense than letting the quart jars do the job? I don't expect to get conks. Antlers will do in this case.

For the 2 tubs you have colonizing, if you dont care about conks just let them go on as they are and you will have antlers forming with a high CO2 environment. You also could turn those tubs into mono-tubs with polyfill stuffed holes on all sides.
Fruiting your jars right from grain should work just fine, especially if you have a fruiting chamber....... something as simple as an SGFC would suffice.
I hope this helps a little in your decisions! -Good vibes your way---->

Thanks for the reply.
I am interested in conks but, failing that, I will take antlers. My reishi culture produces the most robust mycelium I have ever seen--I have actually only seen cube and azurescens and, if memory serves me, a s\sclerotia bearing strain's mycemium before, so I'm not the greatest judge of such matters.
Well, maybe I will put the jars in a SGFC and make some kind of monotub arrangement for my two little tubs.
