Species #2 Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca?

Habitat: Growing on moss
Gills: Orange and white

Spore print color: White
Cap: Bright Orange, concave
Species #3 Hypholoma sublateritium?

Habitat: Growing directly on dead tree stump
Gills: White and violet
Stem: Thin
Spore print color: Dark violet or black
Cap: Convex, some with nipples at top, darker in center
Species #4

Habitat: Growing on moss
Gills: White-brownish
Stem: Quite thick
Spore print color: White
Species #5 Calocera viscosa?

Habitat: Growing on mossy area
Species #6 Amanita pantherina?

Growing in mossy area, definitely with gills.
Species #7

Found right next to walkway in forest. Fruit body was mostly underground in earthy area with leave litter. Felt very tough to the touch. No gills to be felt and no pinewood trees in this one's vicinity.

Species #1 - Some kind of Amanita
Species #2 Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca? - I'd say so.
Species #6 Amanita pantherina? - I think possibly Amanita rubescens

Yeah I thought #1 could be Amanita rubescens as well, since I also found it close to #6. What confuses me is that the gills are clearly attached to the stem which shouldn't be the case with A. rubescens.
@natedawgnow Thank you! Wanna nominate me?

I considered Amanita rubescens for the first too although I've not personally seen universal veil remnants on the cap like that before in that species. Would also need to see the base of the stem in full as that is an essential identifying feature in Amanitas, if you didn't already know.

Yes the universal veil remnant does speak against A. rubescens. I didn't check for the base though since I am a bloody beginner at this. I will check the place out next week again and check for the base of some of his friends and post an update on this so we can get to the bottom of this. (No pun intended )

I nominated that photo for picture of the month.
Now that i think about it though, i am not sure if mushroom hunting and id has a whole separate POTM thread, i post it in the one hosted by stonesun.

Ya but that one is for ethnobotanicals.
There is one specifically for mushrooms in the mushroom grow logs and pictures forum. Here is the link
