Are these still necessary? with all these thoughts going on (semi recently/past few years it seems) about differing light ideals, and how light does not cause side pinning, How much light does this hobby REALLY need?
Also, substrate 1.5Qcoir/1qtspawn is a good mix, right? Vermiculite ONLY to case PE? (I was going to use it for moisture control more than anything.. if this isn't necessary, i have a Big Berkey (black) water filter I can fill my spray bottle with and mist when needed (clean water! ). I plan on making a grow log for this part of the process, so people can see what i probably cannot yet.
On the plus side, I already have about ten b+/creeper prints on agar ready to be put in jars from their step They've been on agar for maybe 3 weeks, havent really checked em.. might buy some LC and do jars directly next time rather than AGAR, just to see what the difference in speed is for myself

I've not used unnatural lighting for any grows since my first and they grow just as well with indirect sunlight

12 on/12 off if you plan to use the bulbs. Light is a secondary pinning trigger, but the most important thing is FAE. Using the bulbs probably works just as good, if not better, than natural daylight, I just haven't gotten around to using it yet. Get the FAE dialed in correctly right when you introduce your tub into fruiting, and you'll see lots of pinsets :awesome nod:

A casing is necessary for the PE variety, I would suggest going with something other than straight verm, as it isn't the best casing. A 50/50 mix of peat moss/verm and ph balanced would be ideal.
If you can get your hands on some jiffy mix (I would highly recommend btw), just bring it to field capacity, load jars, and pasteurize!! Super simple.

They should be fully grown out on the plate by now, maybe even some pins.. Take some transfers ASAP!
