Hedgehog mushroom?

Think I have found Hydnum repandum, and am looking forward to trying it the first time, but want to confirm


Habitat:
PNW, in spruce/subalpine-fir forest.

Gills:
Spines. Maybe 5mm long

Stem:
thick, somewhat bulbous at base. Some shaggyness on the stem where the spines begin running down it. white/cream coloured. not hollow

Cap:
white/cream. up to about 8cm

Spore print color:
none yet


Bruising:
brownish bruising

Other information:

(some brown bruising)





(some shagginess on stems where spines start running down it)

They are so much fun to find. I just about squeeled like a pig [(wait no a hog), wait no a hedgehog] when I found my first one. I thought it was marasmius oreades from the tan lumpy cap but then it felt so solid and had a thick ass solid stem and I knew it was something good before I turned it over thinking prob. a bolete. Then I saw the teeth. Really cool and awesome that it tastes like chantrelles but dialed down a notch and mixed with more "mushroomy" flavor.
