neither will affect anything. what are you trying to take it for? headaches? typically you take it once you get a headache, or before smoking if smoking gives you a headache.

Here is a comparison between the two.
http://health.clevelandclinic.org/2013/09/acetaminophen-vs-ibuprofen-which-works-better/
They are both NSAIDs (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs I think it is) and should not interact with weed in any way, but you might find one works better than the other and both have risks that you should be aware of.
I usually find if I have a headache it is most helpful to drink plenty of water and lie down with my eyes closed. An NSAID might help a bit if I have to work or something, but it doesn't really make that much of a difference from what I can tell unless things are really bad like severe swelling or fever. I don't get headaches from weed when I am exercising and eating right.
I wouldn't want to make a habit of taking either of these drugs. Try to only take them when you need it even though it may seem harmless.

Tylenol is not an NSAID. It's Acetaminophen. But Advil is an NSAID.
Neither is really going to interact with smoking marijuana. And which one and when you should take them are dependent on what you are taking it for. But in any case, as long as you are a normal healthy person, if you stick within the dosage guidelines you should be fine.

Yeah I guess you're right. They're definitely similar in any case.
