What's the deal with flushing root bark mash?
    #22151833 - 08/27/15 02:45 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I'm calling out to you community: if you do it in several flushes could you flush a half gallon of acacia confusa bark mash that is still saturated with highly alkaline water? should I neutralize it with muriatic acid first? I have a good toilet and the consistency is very watery so that part should be fine, but what about the trace of naptha and the basic water?

Just dump it in your backyard. If its just naptha it will evaporate and you will save water

Don't be irresponsible to the environment. Naphtha is toxic to aquatic organisms and its probably not wise to dump it in your backyard. You can burn it tho and contribute a small amount of CO2 to the atmosphere. You might be able to distill it and use again.
