Started cannabis in late july. Oops...

So i had these random cannabis seeds lying around for a while and never got around to planting them. Dont know if theyre male or female. In late July i said "FUCK IT WHY NOT" and planted these two. After a couple days i did some research and figured out that this is a bad time to plant for outdoor growing
I tried to grow one last summer indoors with a half assed setup before my cat chomped it in half
Here i am in late August not knowing what to do with them because this time of year is generally the flowering period (from what ive read for my area: Southern New England).
I have the option of moving it indoors (correct me if im wrong) but don't know if this will cause culture shock and what not and cause the plant to die. I figure its better to try moving it indoors than letting it die when the first frost comes sometime in September.
When i planted them, sunrise - sunset was at 5:30am - 8:00pm Right now sunrise - sunset is at 6:00am - 7:30pm
These are the plants, one on the right doesn't look so hot

Has anyone had experience moving plants indoors after they've been outside for any reason? I'm going to try to keep them in my closet with a small fan and lighting. If they die.... OH WELL
...but itd be cool if they didn't

As long as everything is sufficient inside it should be fine. interesting leaf structure on the big one near the bottom looks like a tricotyledon or possibly webbed. Looks happy either way.

I would continue to grow them outdoors until they show sex, because thy could end up being males or hermaphrodites even.
Nothing worse than bringing them indoors, and getting lights all set up for them to turn out not being female
They should show sex before your first frost, then you can bring them in,and baby them,if they turn out to be females
I would only bring them in without knowing their sex,if you are afraid that they will freeze.

I could imagine a few things worse than that... Whats wrong with a hermaphrodite plant? Aren't those just female plants that flower and have pollen sacs too? These are my only plants so i don't really mind if they produce buds or not (although itd be nice). I want to see them grow throughout their lifespan.
Any recommendations as to what type of light to use and how much of it. Id be putting it in my closet with a small fan. Im not sure what cycle to use because as of right now in vegetative they are getting 5 of direct sun 7 of indirect light and 12 darkness. what should i do during flowering? (if they be bitches)

Im confident you can move those indoors with little stress on the plant. Use a minimum of 75w light per square foot IMO.

What's wrong with a hermaphrodite? Well, for one thing, they produce buds loaded to the brim with seeds, not to mention, they will do the same thing to any pure females you may have in their immediate area.
I know you say you don't care if they produce or not, then what's the point in even growing them then?
That would be like growing a tomato plant that doesn't produce tomatoes

Toss the hermie. Moving them indoors isn't a problem. You'll need 150-400w light minimum and they are hungry.
Get some Sunshine #4 and General Organics Biothrive Grow (if you are going to fruit it you need bloom too) and General Organics Calmag.
OGTea is also required for organic gardening as you need the microbes to break the food down for the plant (or else you get the color of the plants you have now; Deficiency)
Essentially with the ogtea and GO Biothrive/Calmag you are growing veganically with no animal by-product.
Makes the plant virtually non-toxic.

Toss the herm? what herm? these plants are not showing sex yet & yes its a bit too late for a northern flowering rush unless its a quick flowering plant...
Oh, and hey kids, a stress induced herm is not the same as a true herm...

A stress induced hermie is not the same as a hermie, you are right.
However it's not beneficial in any form unless it's a feminized plant you plan on breeding with another fem.
I meant toss any that are hermie. He was asking if he should keep the hermies if there are any.
OP 18/6 light cycle inside under 400w metal halide (you can use hps), veg it out for a month or two and make sure you transplant into a bigger pot before you flip the lights to 12/12 for flower under hps.

I agree with TheRansom but I say don't chuck the hermie. My priest at church said when a female plant's gibberalic acid content in its branches increases (stress) it starts to produce male flowers among female flowers. This can be spray applied to the plant on seperate branches.) This is encouraged because an odd situation occurs here.. where a female pollen/ sperm- if you will- pollenates a female egg. Pretty sure that, over generations, this feminizes your seeds... Sounds like letting your hemie go is fine if you really want heaps of seeds (and possibly feminization) Some will always turn into males tho just hand pick the flowers.

Good luck! I started mine in July too, outdoors in full sunlight, White Widow, and they were doing awesome, Almost 3 feet in just over 1 month... Looked like they were just starting to cross over to flower.
Unfortunately they were discovered by one who cannot be trusted, so... They're gone, damnit.

Basically each calyx shoots out white pistils (Or hairs); These pistils want to be pollinated by pollen obviously, in turn the calyx stops growing and produces seed.
Which is what I was saying. If you hermie a feminized seed with stress (Red light, too much nutrients, under watering, etc) and then use it to pollinate your sensimilla strains in flower; That in turn will hinder yield but produce you viable seeds that will not hermie unless stressed out.

I realize that i need to spend my time (and little money) doing healthier things so im just gonna let the plant run its course until it dies. Weed isn't for me so im finally letting go of it I guess some things just aren't meant to be
