This is Tyson. Unless you're buying free range or antibiotic free chicken it's probably the same shit. Doesn't matter if you're grilling it yourself or paying $50 a plate at a fancy restaurant.
*edit* And I have no problems with antibiotics when they're needed. But with factory farming they're often used as a matter of course due to shitty living conditions.

Oregano oil is a much safer and more effective antibiotic as well.

All our meat is organic from farms in our town. Our eggs, vegetables also form our town, most we grow, or two towns over in the off season, all organic.
The restaurants we do eat at also serve local meats. We even have a local Beer CSA that uses as many local organic ingredients as possible and the monthly pick up is tomorrow!!!!!!
It's more expensive, and is more work to eat this way but we feel its worth it.
And before someone tries to say it not organic and "how do we know"? We live with these people, know them by name and eat with them.

That's cool. Just was pointing out that it's not a 'fast-food' issue so much as it is a 'food industry' issue.

Absolutly.
The guy we buy our beef and pork from requires the slaughter house to take his animals in as soon as he arrives at his appointment time so they have little time to smell the fear.
I've seen the vids of packed in chickens, we have 4 farms in town that are selling organic grass fed beef one just sold off their milkers and going strictly beef with a 5th farm also selling off their milking herd for beef.
I thing there is a strong movement towards real quality food
Then there's my vegetarian step-daughter who doesn't like vegetables and eats processed fake meat substitutes because she doesn't want to see animals hurt.
We try to find her healthy things but she's head off the college in 3 days.

Somehow I like watching them get killed, I know its bad, but they're so darn tasty! Besides we're doing them a favor by euthanizing them of their horrible living conditions anyway. They'll find sweet solace in the pits of my belly.

How are Foster Farms chickens raised?
Foster Farms chickens are locally grown and raised in large barns with room to move around freely and express normal behaviors. The environmental temperature, humidity and air speed within each barn are controlled and monitored 24 hours a day to ensure birds are comfortable and do not become too hot or too cold. Our birds have continuous access to an adequate supply of clean, fresh drinking water and are fed a highly nutritious, balanced diet composed primarily of corn and soy meal, with added vitamins and minerals. Foster Farms birds mature naturally – without any added steroids or hormones.
We believe, and American Humane Association agrees, that this protective environment promotes good health and care for our birds.

this might be a little off topic(not about chiken) but i was able to get some really good ribs that had a small amount of fat that was easy to remove before the place shut down. i have had a lot of ribs that are full of fat. a assume this is due to the way the pigs are raised?

It is all about having the chickens to not be eating its own poop and feeding it scrapped chicken part which that cause the chicken to be swollen and sickly. If anyone eats human flesh, they will become sickly which causes them to become swollen. That person might has gain a lot of weight that the body rejected but stored it away until the body can toss it away, but not the right weight to be gain. There's a lot of people that are over-weight, but an unnaturally weight, that is making them look more like deformed beings. It is like that the body has been beaten up all inside of them. But by eating clean healthy foods will bring down the swelling from eating foods that are contaminated with all sort of pathogens.
