What kind of mushrooms can be grown in this substrate?

Dried hemp fiber and stems
Is it good for mushroom growth?
I was wondering if I could use it to enrich my wood lover bed, or grow oysters and cubes from them?! Is it possible?

Oysters would probably tear it up. I doubt cubes would like it tho.

I agree with the pale skinned fella.

Do you guys think ovoids or azures would dig hemp?
I mean, it's kinda woody right?

Despite its woody texture, hemp is actually quite low in lignin. Not sure how well woodloving psilocybes would do with that little lignin. Oyster or ganodermas wouldn't care but ps woodlovers might. You woukd have to just try and report back.

RR grew some cubes on qp of bud, that wasn't hemp stalk though.
If you can break it down to coir texture I bet hemp would work fine as a bulk sub.

Hemp is gonna be too oily for cubes to handle. RR got about 2 grams from his QP block of weed and I doubt hemp would do much better. bw86 tried using spent weed hoping the oil issue would be solved and had little success with it either. I stand by my original statement

I forgot about that one. Not as abysmal as the budz but I don't think I would personally waste the spawn on that myself.

Yeah I try not to go for more than one flush anymore
Cron while your here maybe you can answer the actual question, would it work for woodlovers in the cyan complex? Would the lack of lignin be a problem for fruiting? My gut and most literature suggests it would but I trust your hands on experience.

it would probably work out fine if ya tossed some sunflower seeds in, those things have tons of lingin but not something i would throw at my exotic woodlovers...maybe try it with gyms or oysters lol
