How can I add more to my life easily?

Right now my life is, like, QuakeLIVE, a couple of online forums, coffee out regularly, occasional visits from old friends, porn and methamphetamine (once a fortnight I 'celebrate'). Oh and I go for long drives out into rainforests etc. I quite like that part.

Why you ask? I've said it a million times around here but I'm on my way out of years of either a) mental illness b) a head injury or c) both.
I don't even know if I've made this thread already... maybe a similar one.
...But I just want a few clues as how to easily add to this 'life' of mine. So far people in my life have suggested: gym, study and badminton.
Things like that. Small things. Maybe start having barbeques weekly? This is Australia after all.

bukowski was bleeding from both ends, racking up bills in the hospital. they couldn't figure it out, and were set to let him die there and rack up bills he couldn't pay anyway (tax payers would make it up)
he walked his bleeding ass out of there and walked and wrote untill he was healthy enough to die miserable and alone just like we all do.
if you like quake and online forums and speed and porn dont stop.
if you like mental (and/or physical/spiritual/existential) illness, don't create anything.
live fast die young make nothing.

I would avoid the suicidal advice given directly above if I were you. Bukowski is no one to emulate--even if you possibly could emulate him--or anybody else for that matter.
If I were you I would look hard into the long term effects of this substance you use for recreation (see below). Then look hard into the long term effects of something like, say, meditation, or moderate yoga.
People who use methamphetamine long-term may experience anxiety, confusion, insomnia, and mood disturbances and display violent behavior. They may also show symptoms of psychosis, such as paranoia, visual and auditory hallucinations, and delusions (for example, the sensation of insects crawling under the skin).
Chronic methamphetamine use is accompanied by chemical and molecular changes in the brain. Imaging studies have shown changes in the activity of the dopamine system that are associated with reduced motor skills and impaired verbal learning. In studies of chronic methamphetamine users, severe structural and functional changes have been found in areas of the brain associated with emotion and memory, which may account for many of the emotional and cognitive problems observed in these individuals.
Some of these brain changes persist long after methamphetamine use is stopped, although some may reverse after being off the drug for a sustained period (e.g., more than 1 year).

meditation, yoga, reading, healthy eating, exercising, volunteering, donating, writing, anything that feels like progress to you - moving forward and expanding into more of life, more of love, more into joy you may have to step outside your immediate comfort zone if you wish for deep growth and the resulting sense of fulfilment

I agree with deff: yoga, reading, meditation. I also recommend learning a language! Its fun, time-filling, and rewarding.

Well I go at it once a fortnight, I figure that's not too bad for you? Or am I wrong there?

it sounds like you are looking for something to add more "meaning" to your life. what inspires you? do you have any interests that feel effortless and natural? do those. i'd also suggest cutting out anything that doesn't jive with what you truly want in life.
you'll have to figure it out for yourself, but that's a start.
