Reishi tolerance? Dependence?

like the title, would one build tolerance, or even become dependent on regularly taking reishi?
I have never taken it yet but plan to in the near future. I also plan to cultivate my own. I am just wondering if it is something I will become addicted to? Will I need to take higher doses as the time goes? And would I crash or feel worse if I run out, or maybe the gradual comedown would prevent a crash?
Maybe there is already a conversation about this topic, but I couldn't find anything so maybe some link or quote would also be appreciated

yeah, i don't think it works that way, you can't think of it like a psychoactive substrance (not that all of them build op tolerance or reverse-tolerance).
But i read it is good to quit for a little while after half a year to a year or so, before starting again, can't remember why.

I have read that reishi has blood thinning properties. This is beneficial for most people. But, if taken regularly over a long period of time (months, years), this blood thinning action can lead to bleeding disorders, Nose bleeds, wounds that won't clot..... From what I've read taking periodic breaks from reishi will avoid these issues.

Thanks, definitely makes sense. Pretty much answered my question, that breaks would even be suggested.
But the way I was thinking, all the immunities, benefits and uplifting mood you would get, would it be harder to go back to "normal" life without anymore Reishi after taking it for say a month?
