Panaeolus Cinctulus?
    #22145787 - 08/26/15 11:10 AM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Need some help please. I am completely new to this but these are growing in some rotten wood at my house. Any help IDing them would be appreciated. I just want to make sure before I go further.

Cincts don't grow on rotten wood, those are a coprinoid (inky cap) of some variety.

They are growing next to not out of the wood if that matters.
