Dry Summer for PNW....Rain is Coming
    #22144384 - 08/26/15 02:50 AM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I am going to be picking in the Lynnwood, Snohomish, and Bellingham area. The summer was so ridiculously dry I am worried about this Fall's harvest. I remember years ago when I used top pick I would find Libs fairly early in September. If my memory serves me I actually think I would start finding Libs in August. But this was 7 years ago. Anyways, rain is coming and I am hoping for the best but I am wondering if anybody knows if the heat and drought will really diminish this season's pickings.

Reason:
Sorry, but posts like this aren't allowed.

Quote:

5. Do not make threads or posts discussing or reporting the weather.
This includes complaining about the weather, asking if the current weather is "good for shrooms", or how long to wait after rain fall to go hunting.  If it has rained within the last 1-10 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, and the time of year is correct then it is certain that that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.

You'll just have to go out and look when you think conditions are right.
