Mini Growroom setup inspired by eatyualive

I scrapped most of my old project and moved it to this one due to dryness issues. This one you could say is too wet. I've been playing with the dialing on the humidity. So I got it to sit at 60%-85% or 90%-93%... I know too much water can be bad for oysters. I didn't catch some water pooling at the bottom and the an oyster jumped out of it's hole and started growing in the water. I found this when I was spinning the bucket looking for pinning. Btw that was blue oysters.
The lion's mane like omg air fruit. The bag of oysters were put in on Sat or Sunday.
The King oysters and Blue oysters were put into fruiting conditions between the 17th-20th. I don't think I will see pins from them for anther week. Still hitting the 98s outside during the day so internal temps haven't really gone into the 60s during the day. Planning on trying to shock them tonight with leaving my swamp cooler on all night. (drops down to 53 at night.)
Water has hydrogen peroxide added to it and Iodine as recommend. I've been debating about adding in a UV-C water sterilizer in it too as seen Here.

Nice! You have the same humidity/temp device as I do.

I have fresh air forced in for a hour than off for 30. There are a few cycles of only 30 mins of fresh air. The filter is a 99.97 filter from Wal-Martn the filter cage is secure enough for me to remove the filter and install a new. As far as i can tell there is no leaks but I would need some leak check to know for sure. There is more than enough air flow so no need.
I'm debating on adding the uv-c to the resivor due to the fact having more than one type of sterlizer makes it harder for things to build resistance to sterilization with more than one method.

About the uv-c, are you saying that having more than one type of sterilization unit makes it harder for the mushrooms to build resistance to contamination?

Harder for bacteria and spores to build a chemical resistance. The uvc is a fish tank strtlizer. It's submerged in the water. This is to avoid growth in the ducting. A bacterial slime can grow or mold.
Doctors and labs will use multiple antibiotics/fungals to avoid breeding resistant bacteria or fungi infections. Aka you hear people who chemical pasteurized for long periods run into issues. They typically just use lime

I would probably go the route of more exposure to contams just so they do build resistance and produce their own antibiotics etc...
For the UV sterilizer, I agree with that because you may otherwise have more maintenance cleaning out that duct-work.
I would be scared to use antibiotics or antifungals on a regular basis because that's exactly the environment that creates 'superbugs'. I wouldnt wanna work in that sort of environment just for my own health's sake.
Sounds like you know what you're doing. I look forward to seeing how your grows turn out!!!

Multiple fungicides and antibiotics when used are to prevent super bugs. Uv-c can also be built a restaince to. My main concern is duct maintenance as they are difficult to clean.

Yeah that duct-work would be a pain to clean for sure.

What I been thinking about doing for cleaning would be pouring boiling water down tge black duck to the resivor as that should be the only duct with growth. The brown duct should have almost no water in it. I haven't been able to observe if there backdraft in it.
The air housing has no condensation at all so I assume that end is good

good luck. might need to dial it in for the first run.
how long did it take to get to 91?
also, this setup will work for multiple green houses. i believe i had about 6-8 martha stuart size shelves setup to one fogger unit.

I'm running into some issues here. It has been almost a month and I still down have fruits. I put one 5 gallon bucket into a trash bag and left it outside over night. (Gets down to 54F at night) still no luck. Also upgraded to a WH8040 for humidity control. The fan inside the tent is on a timer. Set to be on for 1 hour intervals and some half hour.

Have you verified either of these cultures with previous fruit bodies? What conditions did it take last time to induce pinset if you did.

I know the king produces fruits. The blue should. Think ill have to wait till it gets cooler outside. Last time my place didn't have high 80s during the day. My place is not the most effective at keeping it cool. I've been thinking about putting ice in the water bucket reservoir.

Having just switched away from buckets after a year, I can say they take for ever. Ours would average 5-6 weeks before fruiting and then fruit for 5-6 months off and on. I still have a few that survived the summer heat outside and are putting out a couple ounces every few days.
I'd be surprised if ambient humidity had anything to do with their fruiting since there is such a large mass of water in the bucket themselves. We found that nesting them in an undrilled bucket and checking them every few days was enough and only put them in the fogger room when they started to pin.

Still no progress. Poped the lid and I'm seeing some pools of metabolites. Is this garden trash now?

Ive also noticed my bags fruit much more freely than pails I wonder what the factors are? I actually did the same thing to get my current pails to fruit only i used drilled buckets with the holes offset from the substrate pail and with 1/4 of water in the bottom. I also placed them indoors and turned down my ac to 72. Also depending on your outside conditions you can place them outside when its cool and raining.

Think I should enlarge those holes?
They are fairly small for oysters from what I've been hearing too.

We got large fruits from our 1/4" holed buckets. Have you checked the top? Is the mycilial mat thick and white? Does it sweet sweet/earthy? If so I'd just leave them alone, they'll fruit within a couple weeks
