Start off of a nice landscape picture of where I was hunting today:
(Large picture) Here's a well known Amanita:
A very large Shrimp Russula (Russula xerampelina). It was larger than any of the A. muscaria's.
This is Lactarius deliciosus:
And a few I haven't felt like Iding:
Resembles Gomphidius subroseus.

Still unsure about the first one, but, Im thinking the second one is definetly Gomphidius subroseus.
Wookie: No, I actually have never collected any A. muscaria before. I have no real desire to try them!

Nice.
This is the part of the year where you get to pay the rest of us back for all of our good hunting while there was nothing available there.
Happy mushrooming!

Although we have been getting rains for the past month, Ive only been out hunting probably 5 times this year. I still haven't gone back to my P. subbalteatus patch yet since a few weeks back. I would love to go chekc them out...they are like my children

New Jersey has got to be one of the worst shroom states ever... its supposed to rain the next few days straight.. but the highest temperature is like 60 degrees... possiblilties of finding ne thing?
By the way.. i did A. muscarias the other day.. about 4 grams.. they are very much worth it i think... a nice feeling and a very comfortable muscle twitching if i remember correctly... i reccomend them
