Not planning on using it for innoculations, but rather to lower the mold spore count in my growroom or entire house for that matter. Been using the same room for a couple years now. Have had some tubs contaminate in later flushes and gotten lazy at times and forgotten to throw them out or opened comtaminated jars etc etc, I personally feel like the spore count has to be higher than usual! What do yall think?

Well I actually read the one that RR commented on specifically, and the question asked was wether or not it would be good to use for "injections" i believe, which would make sense that it would be no good for that because it would just stir the air up in the room. but for overall lowered spore count in the room? i dunno. thats why im posting. keep the opinions coming.

RR on HEPA filters for cleaning grow rooms:
1. I have five of them piled up in my barn collecting chicken droppings. They're worthless. I actually had a higher rate of contamination with them running than after I ditched them. They aren't really true hepa filters and spit out a lot of contaminants that they don't catch, swirling them into the air rather than allowing them to settle on the floor.
2. I used to run HEPA filters in every room of my house. They're now all in the storage building collecting dust. I honestly feel a HEPA filter near the grow room does more harm than good by stirring up the air and blowing contaminant spores around that would otherwise sink harmlessly to the floor.
3. Don't run that thing in your grow room. Those so-called ratings they put on them are pure fraud. They'll swirl mold spores around like a polyester-clad disco dancer in the 70's. You can run it in your living room, but they have limited effect even there. I run one to help control ash dust from my wood stove, but even with that, it lets most of it pass right through.
It would seem they're not good enough at catching things and the air from them just blows more contaminants around.
