Tray in a semi outdoor enviroment
    #22141267 - 08/25/15 03:09 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Ok so I'm doing an experiment. I have a garage type area that has open windows and a setup to help keep moisture and I am doing a test run with one tray. I am using Bluelou's tek for the tray. Pics to follow for setup.

Mats- Straw, coffee grinds, Black kow and thick plastic.

Adding the coffee grinds to the soak water for the straw maybe the straw will soak in some coffee nutes?

Update with pics coming in a hour or so.

Treasure Coast.

I'm not sure about the setup tho. I dont know if i want to leave it semi outdoor with fresh air circulation or finish the seal and bring in a fan etc...

So the room setup is basicly a long pallet with a thick plactic room built around it and a shelf. not too complicated but the room does have power and lights plus some nice potential for extra work space.

that room seems pretty dope to me man, i really wanna have a nice space dedicated to mycology, controlled climate, flowhood, a nice little table fruiting racks incubator, all in one room, just for mushies.

I can take a few pics it wasn't actually that difficult to setup and the most expensive part was the plastic shelf. the thick plastic was like $20 for a roll and then bought a pack of screws and a roll of duct tape and packing tape. the screws were used all over the place with little washers and a few tact nails to keep everything from falling down. I then sealed it all together with the duct and packing tape. the pallet i picked up for free on the side of the road. but i imagine they are not too expensive even if you were to go buy one. I added some plywood to the pallet for footing and extra support. i found it easier to start with the top and work my way down when hanging the plastic.

that was my plan but i'm kinda stuck at this stage for a moment. the climate control system i have in mind is going to take some time and money to put together. so for right now i'm leaving it open and trying this tray. No changes on the tray yet but i will keep the updates coming plus lots of pics.
