I think I'm now strictly a surreal artist. I didn't like this new direction at first, but it was all I could draw when I would have my drawing sessions. I suppose I should go with it if that's what's comming outta my hand. It could be a sub-contious thing happing.

I'm wondering if anyone here likes or dislikes surreal art. I mean, do you think it's unique and expressive, or total crap (
-Thanks for the feedback.

What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

If you are a full time time artist...I mean that in the sense that you will always have the hobby of "art" whether your making money off it or doing it in free time...it's normal to change, or wander through styles. It's either from a change of emotions, people or lifestyle influences around you, or a tendancy to do something either complementing, contrasting or juxtapozing your current style.

holy shit man is that avatar new?

anyway, I love abstract art.......... I find it more creative than simply drawing objects and people you see right in front of you.. I think true visions come from within, as kind of collages of natural external data

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.
