Looks good! Time to fruit
Consider using some lining at the bottom next time to avoid side pinning

Ducktape won't work, when the sub looses moisture, it shrinks and creates gaps around the edges. This allows light and FAE on the sides and triggers pinning. Use a plastic trash bag. It will stick to the sub as it shrinks and eliminate side pinning

I put a black garbage bag on the outside because I didn't want to mess with the substrate inside the tub

Place the bag inside next time. Just line the bottom of the tub with the bag, mix spawn and bulk sub over the bag and gold the sides of the bag over the top for colonization.

This is doing nothing. The reason you put a garbage back on the inside is so when the sub shrinks/consolidates, it brings the bag with it. When the bag goes with it, there's no gap between the substrate and tub (which allows FAE and promotes sidepins, which suck).
You put the garbage bag in first, tape it to the sides, then add spawn/sub. Then you cut the liner around, closely above the top of the substrate, and voila.

I never black out the bottom of my tubs. Sure I get pinning but it's never a problem. Imo the solution uses more energy than the problem.
But speaking of black plastic bags. I like to get a decent sized cardboard box, drop a black trash bag in it, and fill it with substrate. I fold the lid shut until its colonized. Then tape the sides open and up and start misting. Works great. No clean up, a lot cheaper than buying tubs. Oh, and highly stealth. Got company, fold it shut and tape it. Maybe write living room on it for decoy.

so in ur example, what is the energy you save vs. a reusable plastic tub??
