Strange thing happened during meditation

So last night, I was meditating as I have been for a while.
I thought I'd try something new, and instead of just clearing my mind manually, I was focusing on my breathing.
After a while of doing this, waves of pleasure and euphoria started sweeping over me, quite similar to the feeling on LSD but less intense. It felt amazing.
After the meditation I went to bed.
When I woke up today, I felt the same. I still feel euphoria, and just much happier than I've been for a while, and I'm still getting the spine tinglies all over the place just in normal life.
What's the dealio with this? Anyone know?

What was the difference to before?
Edit: By that I mean how would you " manually clear your mind"?
It's common sense to focus on breathing during meditation. Though I have major trouble doing so .

u were able to achieve a peaceful state of mind through meditation, not much else to say.
our minds are constantly running wild and it is usually like the main source of our suffering, so naturally when u're able to tame it and put it aside for a while what do u get?.. peace of mind.
congrats tho man, im happy for u/

That's how I was taught to meditate, and how I always have. It just seems common sense to me to focus on breathing, since it's just about the only constant you'll ever have in your time in this world.

I don't know what the dealio is, but this is something (spine tinglies) that has crept into my daily life recently too. Only if i'm stone cold sober though. It's taken over 6 years practice to achieve it, and I count it as too much of a blessing to really question it. I just love it for what it is.
If I had to guess, my suspicion would be that it's some kind of connection to the 'divine/infinite/universal consciousness/etc' - but shit, I can't prove it anyhow, so I just enjoy it for what it is..

Yo, its amazing the powers of meditation because in general meditation can be transcendental or object based..maybe even subjective..but the miraculous benefits are true..feels great, just to meditate when ever you think about, and follow your thoughts for the rest of the day! Im a Buddha and im proud of myself..in everything i do..i feel alive..and that is the adjustment made by simply meditating..or being in the moment..this moment..symbolized as a cube.. is indeed here forever..this present thing is a moment in time..and we are always going to be here this very minute..whether its 5:00 Oclock PM..or 12:00 Oclock AM..its always just a measure of what is here now..though it may seem different than the last second..and it will likely be different the the upcomming second..but it is supremely true...to understand that we are always here now! Yes and the tick of the clock..is a present understanding of a current..or constant..that stays in shape through out the Cosmos..or the understanding of the Sun..it keeps projecting light..and will forever..but we can understand that its a little less effective..depending on when we are faced to it, in accordance with our orbit of Earth..which rotates around the sun..so its like one moment..but with multiple frames..each a relative change of before..and will be changed relative to the future..And when you factor in the Speed of Light..we get an understanding for one of our senses..Which IS Sight!!
And ultimately..you can meditate on anything..and therein you could meditate on everything..or every single thing you see, Frame by Frame..!

I did this last night as well.
Instead of working with the mind and body, I focused on my breath.
I've been experiencing expansion in my spine, and it can feel painful.
So instead of breathing into the expansion and experiencing pain, I let my spine do the breathing in a sense.
The deeper my breath the my tingles I experienced especially in the hands.
Breath is key in certain aspects.

Amigo, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
