Shotgun Chamber not fruiting

the shotgun chamber has holes made with soldering iron on all 6 sides approx 2 inches apart with about 3 inches of perlite on the bottom. there are 12 cakes in there and one tray. theres a lot of condensation on the wall and a lot of aerial mycelium so I think its low fae so I turned on the ceiling fan to have a little air movement in the room, but the sgfc isn't in the room it's in a closet but the closets door has like 10 inches missing from the bottom so I just close it any help would be appreciated

use the lid of the bin to fan air over the substrate mang. Your buddies need more air! fanning with a lid will be more beneficial than a fan in a nearby room.
in the future a little more perlite might be nice. But humidity is not your issue atm

Get 4-5" of perlite.
There should be NO condensation on the walls of an SGFC. You have an FAE problem. Condensation happens due to a temperature difference between the tote and the outside environment. An SGFC has so many holes that there should be minimal to no condensation.
Get pics.
Move it out of the closet. Closets are terrible for SGFCs.

Where is your SGFC? Is it 6-12" off the ground and away from any wall?
Do you have 1/4" holes on all six sides? Top and bottom included?
Do you have 4-5" of perlite in there?
Do you have a fan running? You shouldn't for an SGFC.
Did you consolidate for seven days?
What strain is this?

taGyo said: Fanning is not FAE. FAE is the passive act of air exchange, reducing CO2 levels and increasing O2. Mushrooms are closer to humans then plants so imagine if I put you in a room with a limited supply of oxygen and expected you to not only live but produce a Mona Lisa at the same time. You would suffer and probably die while drawing stick figures.
In the wild mushrooms are CONSTANTLY blasted by fresh air. There are very few places on Earth that are 100% humidity all the time. Mushrooms like fluctuation, this is what they're used to.
I've done a few cakes and a bunch of monotubs. You don't want it to be WET honestly. You want it to get a little dry before you mist again. Pins form from water evaporating on the surface. How do you think I knew you were over-misting and recommended that you cut down? Because those cakes look like they're getting loved to death. Without a proper environment the cakes won't pin.
DO NOT FAN IN BETWEEN MISTINGS. Fanning is to quickly destroy the environment so the fresh air coming in will have to pull more water from the perlite (Which you should also be misting lightly) to restart the humidity. This gives your cakes a jump start on the drying process and also wicks away excessive moisture from the cakes.
DON'T ROLL FOR THE SECOND FLUSH.
Are their holes on the bottom? Raise that higher. Do you have qt jars?

do not fan in between mistings? Thats as confusing as "no parking after midnight." "..but, its always after midnight and its always before midnight."

If you haven't just misted, there's no need to fan . Fanning is to promote evaporation from the substrate. Why would you fan what's already evaporating due to FAE?
It's just a quick way of creating an environment that will draw the water off the cake and perlite and into the air.

It clears the humid air out of the FC in order to make room for more evaporation to happen. That's why a quick 5-10 second fan is plenty. Some people don't fan at all, but eehhhhhh I dunno.

You are asking for trouble with that balancing act. How about misting the cakes. I want to see the cakes glistening with water. Lil drops of water on the cake is good.

Take it out of the closet bro. Put it in a room with more air flow. the cut below is not cutting it.
